God's desire is that everyone be healed and whole.

Sickness is never from God.

Through abandonment, rejection, abuse, curses, neglect, trauma, loss and betrayal we may knowingly or unknowingly allow the seed of original sin to take root.

The root is the sinful response to life’s hurts and can manifest in agreements with the lies of the enemy, judgments, inner vows, bindings ( hatred, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, envy, jealousy, pride, rebellion, fear, doubt/unbelief, shame, control).  These roots need to be renounced, rebuked, broken agreement with and confessed. They need to be replaced with whatever God has for you.

Ungodly fruit from the above roots can result in destructive patterns in a person’s life.  Broken relationships, financial failures, phobias, obsessions/compulsions, addictions, cynicism, distrust, sickness and disease, worry/anxiety, rage/violence, depression

Forgiveness is a gift that we give ourselves, because when we forgive we set ourselves free.  You do not need to have a relationship with someone to forgive them.

The biblical command repeated most often is “Do not fear”.  Why?  Fear actually invites the enemy to kill, steal and destroy.  Fear attacks the foundation of our relationship with God …our faith.  Faith is not the absence of doubt; it’s the presence of belief.  I may not always feel that I have great faith.  But I can always obey, laying my hands on someone and praying.

When the Holy Spirit shows us an area that needs repentance, we must overcome the instinct to defend ourselves.
