Ex. 15:26      “I am the Lord, who heals you.”

It was God’s promise for those who paid attention to His commands and kept His decrees. Do you still think He is the God who heals today?

Ex. 23:25   “Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water.  I will take away sickness from among you.”

We are told to worship over 250 times in the Bible.  How is your Worship?  Do you know that worship is the only thing we give to the Lord, hopefully with no strings attached?

Ps 103:2&3 “Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.”

The benefits of being a child of God is forgiveness of sins and freedom from diseases, do you believe this?

Psalm 147:3  “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Yes, God can heal your broken heart and your meet your emotional needs.

Isa 53:4&5“Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows … by his wounds we are healed.”

It’s already been done, He paid the price for your healing, take it it’s yours.

Matt. 4:23    “And Jesus was going about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among them.”

The desire of God's heart is to heal,  He is not the one who makes us sick.

Mat 8: 16-17  “When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.  This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:  ‘He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases’.”

There's no question about it,  healing is in the atonement?

Luke 4:40  “When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.”

If Jesus healed all who came to Him and told us that we could do even greater things (John 14:12), is anyone to sick or too far gone for Jesus to heal today?

Acts 10:34 and Rom 2:11  “God does not show favoritism.”

What He did 2000 years ago He’s still doing today.

2 Cor 5:7  “We live by faith, not by sight.”

If God says you’re healed, that should settle the matter, even if your eyes can’t see it yet.

Heb 13:8  “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever.”

Do you really believe this?  Is healing still for today?

1Per 2:24  “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”

It’s easy to believe that Jesus died for our sins, that when someone prays the sinners prayer that they are then saved.  Do you also believe that He died for our healings, weather the healings have manifested yet or not?

1 John 5:14-15  “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know we have what we asked of him.”

What is God’s will?  Look for it in scripture, if it’s there, it's for us.

James 1:15“And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.”

What does a prayer offered in faith sound like?

James 5:14-16  “Is any one of you sick?  He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil, in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.  If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.  Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

The name of Jesus is so powerful; use it often when praying for the sick.
